摘要

This paper presents the study and implementation of a sensor system based on bending losses in multimode optical fiber capable of taking measurements of displacement and angular motion. The measurement principle is based on the variation of optical power by generating additional curvature in the curved fiber with periodic bends. The experimental results are presented and discussed.
