Macrospin approximation and Micromagnetic Model of Spin Transfer Dynamics

摘要

This paper is a test of the macrospinapproximation goodness to describe fast switching events of Spin-Transfer Dynamics. In the last years, several research groups worked to characterize the behavior of magnetic multilayers using both the single domain and micromagnetic approaches. Our aim is to establish until that uniform magnetization models are reliable to draw the magnetization processes in MRAM cell. For this purpose, we use micromagnetic simulations.
