摘要

Berenger's perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbingboundary condition (ABC) has greatly enhanced finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) with capability of simulating various problems of electromagnetic wave. In a discretized space-time domain, however, it encounters its inherent deficiencies. This paper analyzes the nonmatched characteristics of the PML in FDTD, proves that it is the iterative parameters make the PML get wideband absorption quality, and these parameters are independent of the simulative frequency. A novel parameter optimization method is also presented in this paper to optimize a conductivity serial.
