Formal Total Synthesis of Estrone

摘要

Our aim was to develop a new stereoselective and enantioselective method for synthesis of compounds with steroid scaffold. In this regard, we reported a new synthetic approach steroid framework based on Zr-mediated repetitive cyclization/alkylation sequence of α,ω-dienes. The same approach was applied for diastereoselective formal total synthesis of estrone.
