The MARDi Cascade: An Eco-compatible Stereocontrolled Versatile Access to Highly Functionalized Seven-Membered Rings(Abstracts)

摘要

The view of organic synthesis has altered. At the times where humanity has to face the ecological issues of the impact of its activity on the global earth system, synthetic organic chemists have to answer a double challenge: continue to provide the society more and more complex and efficient drugs to fight the most terrible diseases, as well as taking into account the required criteria of step, atom, raw material and energy economy. This new area, which can be referred as eco-compatible synthesis, is the core of "green chemistry" and is the major focus of the research developed in our group.
