Lead(s) Regarding QT Interval Measurement for Bedside ECG Monitoring: A Systemic Review

Relevant literature shows inconsistency regarding lead(s) for measuring QT interval measurement;thereby, varying findings make conclusions difficult. We performed systemic review through four major databaseby using search terms “ QT interval, QT interval measurement, QT prolongation”. to identify the best lead forQT interval measurement for bedside ECG monitoring. Findings suggested that lead V3 is the best lead for QTinterval measurement.Future studies may integrate positron emission tomography to determine whether results relate torepolarization affects.
