Industrial explosion is one of the uppermost industrial hazards, and quite a number of explosion hazards are cloud explosions. The explosion mechanism of this kind of heterogeneous mixture is widely researched, and is used for military weapons. Based on the analysis of primary affected factors of explosion power of fuel air mixture, and with artificial neural network (ANN) theory, an ANN model is constructed for explosion power evaluation of fuel air mixture. Application results show that evaluation of ANN model is feasible. The study can contribute helpful references to safety protection and design optimization of fuel air explosive weapons.
