摘要

In order to ensure the accurate automate control of vehicles, we need to develop the intelligent vehicles technology. Inter-vehicle communication (IVC) technology which acquires data of moving vehicles real time and transfers them by some networks is a key one of them, and it provide service like safety warning and traffic control. IVC system adopts wireless communication, but there are few wireless networks suit the IVC system and the vehicle node's hardware costs much. Zigbee wireless sensor networks (WSN), being a novel way to collect and process information, fits with the dynamic vehicle nodes in IVC for its self-organization and dynamic topology and its low cost and micromation. The application of Zigbee wireless sensor networks in IVC will make the system node structure more simple and the formation of networks more convenient. The successful application of Zigbee WSN in IVC not only improves the intelligent vehicles technology but also modern logistical monitoring system.
