The PS (+)-MS classified banknotes as well as six different brands of blue pens in three groups (i) Pen 1; (ii) Pen 2-5 and (iii) Pen 6. The PS(+)-MS has great potential in the study the crossing lines produced from the same blue pen. The dye of m/z 372 and its degradation products are natural markers.
