Seconds per Sample with Echo-DART-MS: Acoustic Loading of a Mass Spectrometer for High-Throughput Label-Free Screening

The Echo-MS-DART system has been employed in single- and 1000-compound assays at higher throughputs than comparable techniques. Spectral carryover due to slow vaporization of some compounds is an issue, but will be addressed with a heated filament substrate. The 1,000-compound assay data is being used to develop experiments to further characterize and improve the capabilities of the Echo-DART-MS.
