Magnetic-Field-Assisted Laser-Ablation Ambient Mass Spectrometry

摘要

fs laser-ablation can effectively ionize hard materials in open air. Magnetic field assists: (1) plasma confinement; (2) plasma neutralization reduction; (3) driving ion movements. SNR was increased up to 8.5 times. LoD of Pb was improved up to 5.5 times and was lowered to 1.98 ppm.
