Urinalysis of opiods using a small benchtop instrument combining microfluidic capillary electrophoresis-ESI with high pressure mass spectrometry

摘要

The development of microchip CE-ESI with a highly miniaturized mass spectrometer shows great promise for rapid assays in a compelling form-factor for clinical and point-of-care applications, specifically opioid urinalysis. Development is currently focused on further optimization of the MS inlet for sensitivity, and characterization of the short and long-term R&R of the CE separation.
