摘要

The use of [D_(10)]Phe allows us to quantify individual differences in phenanthrene metabolism, independent of Phe exposure. A group of subjects showed relatively high amounts of [D_(10)]PheT and/or high ratios of [D_(10)]PheT:[D_9]3-HOPhe. We propose that a high ratio can be an indicator of metabolic predisposition to PAH-induced cancer.
