More than two decades after introducing LC-MS in pharmaceutical research, analytical scientists are still confronted with increasing sample numbers for MS-based assays. Fast turnaround times are key for both in vitro ADME but also in vivo PK investigations in order to cope with the exceptional demand for analytical speed in a drug discovery environment. Here, we introduce a novel high capacity LC-MS/MS platform controlled by an in-house software interface for the quantification of drugs coming from various in vitro and in vivo DMPK assays, combining high-throughput with high selectivity from fast gradients and ion mobility.
