GC-APLI for Trace Analysis of PAHs in Particulate Matter collected from Ambient Air

GC-APLI-QTOF-MS was applied for ultra-trace analysis of polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in particulate matter sampled from ambient air. PAH calibration range was between 6 - 100 fg/μl (separately tested >1 pg/μl). Linearities are for all R~2 >0.9 and >0.99 (56%) in the fg/μl (!) concentration range. GC-APLI covers US EPA and EU priority PAHs in one analytical method, incl. dibenzopyrenes.
