The Bioaccumulation of a Toxic Ionic Liquid in Zebrafish (Danio rerio) by Desorption Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry Imaging (DESI-MSI)

摘要

(1) The bioaccumulation of a toxic IL exposed to zebrafish was mapped by DESI-MS imaging. Bioaccumulation was mainly demonstrated in the respiratory and nervous system. (2) This research can open new avenues in ecotoxicology of small aquatic organisms from environmental exposure of chemical pollutants, pesticides and drugs from the aquatic environment.
