Chromeleon 7.2 Chromatography Data System was able to be operated as an enterprise data system for LCMS analysis. An operator could access the enterprise server installation from a remote client with an account configured for typical operator permissions and successfully submit acquisition sequences to networked instruments. The remote client was able to create methods specific for each instrument's configured hardware (gradient conditions and MS parameters for the specific configuration) and then incorporate these methods into sequences run on the instrument. Remote data processing and monitoring of multiple instrument PCs through a mobile client on a VPN for the lab network was successfully demonstrated.
