Protein analysis from polyacrylamide gel using mid-infrared nanosecond pulsed laser - IR-MALDI ionization mechanism

摘要

We obtained the mass spectrum of insulin with the acrylamide solution matrix and acrylamide gel matrix at a specific wavelength corresponding to the C(velence)O stretching vibration mode. The hydrogen-bond network between carboxyl group and water molecule is involve in the ionization of IR-MALDI.
