We developed a high-throughput explosives detector that uses our wire-type LIT. The ion signals of IED (TATP, HMTD) vapors were detected even at room temperature (300 K). High m/z ions ([TATP+NH_(3)]~(+), HMTD~(+)) of IEDs were observed when samples were heated to 420 and 520 K. The MS/MS spectrum of TATP was also obtained using the wire-type LIT.
