摘要

This paper presents an auto-calibration procedure which permits that any industrial or domestic microwave oven can work in the optimal conditions of energetic efficiency, with non dependence of the dielectric characteristics, shape or dimension of the considered material to be heated. This method is based in a simple on-line calibration and measurement process with low power, and a subsequent mechanical device to place the sample in the position of maximum efficiency and, after this, to radiate, with enough microwave power, the sample to be heated. This method could be immediately applied to existent ovens, because it does no add expensive external devices apart from one axis and a low cost transport platform.
