The injection molded PVA hydrogels displayed a higher elastic modulus than that of the solution casting samples. There was no effect on both solution casting and injection molding PVA hydrogels from the normal sterilization dose, however, irradiation at higher dose levels lowered the tensile properties of injection molded PVA hydrogels.
