Wind Tunnel Testing of a Horizontal Wind Turbine

摘要

This study deals with the development of a dynamic wind tunnel model designed to exhibit a dynamic instability and aclear limit cycle at a speed of a few meter/s, exploiting rapid prototyping manufacturing techniques, in order to keep costsand lead time to a minimum. The model is being developed for didactic purposes but also in order to provide abenchmark for prediction methods.
