This paper covers recent advances in wire rope and strand fabrication procedures for socketed assemblies in use on pedestrian and vehicular bridges. Advancements in material strengths, corrosion inhibitors, fabrication, and socket selection available for assemblies will be discussed including tolerances and variables for the finished products
