SOLAR HOME SYSTEMS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE NORMATIVE RESOLUTION ANEEL N.83, BRAZIL

摘要

This work presents solar home systems implantation (SHS) in the community of Sao Francisco do Aiuca, located in the Mamiraua's Reserve of Sustainable Development (MRSD), in Amazonas' State, Brazil. The installation of these systems is the result of a project financed with sectorial funds, CT-Energ/MME/CNPq, for communities' assistance isolated in the Northern region. The project was developed in the context of the Normative Resolution ANEEL N.83 September 2004, Electric Power Generation by Individual Systems with Intermittent Sources (SIGFI). In the total, 23 systems were installed, which are in operation since August 2005. The work shows the technical characteristics of the systems, the operational results after three years and an overview of the use of this standard in the utilities' rural electrification programs.
