AIPE is a middleware to allow users to take benefits of the execution on a grid without any notworthy modification of the source code. In this context, we developed MPIPP, a software component that allows to generate MPI derived datatypes from C datatype definitions automatically. The goal of such a tool is to make the building of complex messages easier for the end-user, which just has to name the C datatypes to deal with. Moreover, this paper shows that MPIPP goes farther in the complexity level of C datatypes that can be taken into account than any other similar tools have ever gone to.
