The Articulated Funiculator

The Articulated Funiculator is the next generation of vertical transportation in tall buildings, deep underground subway stations and deep mines. The Articulated Funiculator is either a connected system of "trains" that moves people in masse, a vertical sky subway, and/or a system of individual pods. One Articulated Funiculator system requires only two vertical shafts. The Articulated Funiculator increases the percentage of usable floor space, increases the speed of passenger conveyance and has the potential to evacuate upper floors in tall buildings faster than current systems.
