Uterus Septus: Review and Reproductive Outcome One Year After Endoscopic Resection of Uterus Septus

The authors present a review and fertility outcome of 11 patients one year after hysteroscopic resection of uterine septum. The septum was diagnosed while studying the cause of infertility, recurrent miscarriages, and obstetric complications. All cases were submitted to endoscopic resection and the reproductive outcome was analysed one year after. After the resection 10 patients were interested in pregnancy. Four became pregnant in the follow up period. The analysis of therapeutic outcome of the endoscopic uterine septum correction revealed an increase in term delivery and a decrease in miscarriages rates.
