Alongside the expansion of motorcycle production, 4T scooters( dryclutch, AT model) are gaining share in the market. JASO MB oils are recommended by OEMs for 4T scooter applications. The demand for differentiated JASO MB oils is growing. Lower viscosity, lower friction fuel economy type 4T scooter oils have end user benefits and can contribute to emission reduction. 10W30 JASO MB oils have fuel economy advantage over Conventional 10 W30 and 20W40 MA2 motorcycle oils. We plan to run some more engine tests formulated with other friction modifiers and observe their effects on fuel economy savings in the future.
