The periodical deformations evoked by acoustic signals on elastic bodies are good basis for studying and determination the physical acoustics characteristics of materials. These characteristics are important at the research properties of wood as a material for musical instruments making. In this work was applied the acoustic to measurement of selected physical acoustics characteristics. The considered set of selected physical acoustics characteristics consist of: density - ρ, Young's modulus of elasticity — E and acoustic constant -A. The three dimensional graphic representation (ρ, E, A) have been shown as a tool giving the objective results for wood grading from the viewpoint of its using for a special purposes.
