The efficiency of a photovoltaic module, for given conditions, is maximal when its voltage equals a certain value. The optimal voltage is dependent on the solar radiation and the temperature. In this paper, we consider a photovoltaic panel (PV) system supplying a battery. For using the PV at optimal operating point, we have used a DC-DC converter. This converter is controlled by a PI regulator. We present the synthesis of this regulator, that it has been achieved by using Bode method. The model considered has been validated on Simulink. The Simulation gives good results. Thus, the calculated values coincide with the ones obtained by Simulation, on one hand, and, on the other hand, the regulator operates correctly on a large range.
