Utilization of various industrial and household wastes is one of the essential ecological problems. Perspective aspects in this direction are permanent objects of investigations in many countries during last decades. Sawdust is one of the most abundant solid wastes of cellulose and paper industries, whereas polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) used bottles occupy important part of plastic wastes. That is why both sawdust and PET post-consumer bottles were the main items of our investigation. The global production capacity of PET bottle chips increased from 1 6 mn tons in 1990 to more than 12 mn tons in our days North America, Asia and Europe are the leader regions of PET bottle chips production Currently only about 3.5% of all plastics generated is recycled, compared to 34% of paper, 22% of glass and 30% of metals. Sawdust, on the other hand, is one of the main byproducts of wood industry, as we mentioned above. Utilization of this material does not cover the huge volume of the produced sawdust and efficiency of now-a-days methods is not always so high. Consequently, the search of new forms of treatment of the sawdust is still an actual aspect.
