This paper describes full-scale static test of an instrumented corrugated steel culvert with span 2.99 m and height 2.40 m. The present test was curried out in Bridge and Road Research Institute Wroclaw Branch -Poland in 1998 for Norwegian culvert's producer. The standardized and over-standardized railway loads configuration UIC 71 for Europe and Polish Standard PN-85/S-10030 was applied at various soil cover (from 1,0 m to 0,3 m). Several full-scale tests have been performed in the field to validate the long-term performance and great load bearing capacity of these structures, but not very many structures have been tested in controlled conditions in a test facility like the test in Poland. Only results obtained at 0,8 m soil cover for standardized and over-standardized railway loads were presented for the sake of edit limitations.
