摘要

This paper describes an original approach for the determination of an efficient process based on the use of supercritical CO{sub}2 for the decontamination of miscellaneous organic wastes issuing from the exploitation of a nuclear facility. Aim of the work is to design a surfactant formulation based on hydro-carbonated trade surfactants that are able to stabilize suspensions of particulate hydrophilic pollutants in the form of metal oxides. The Pluronics copolymer blocks family (BASF product) is chosen as model surfactants. This family is composed of triblock copolymers containing poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and poly(propylene oxide) (PPO) blocks. Surfactant solubility is calculated using the PC-SAFT equation of state. Experimental assessments of surfactant/CO{sub}2 system efficiency are also presented.
