INTEAMSE 2012 1st Workshop on Managing the Influence of People and Team Factors in SE

摘要

Software engineering (SE) studies software development principles, processes, methods and tools. SE is based not on well-grounded scientific principles but on a compendium of disciplines that are refined and evolved through application into a body of knowledge. Nowadays, key software development issues are primarily concerned not with techniques but with sociological aspects and human nature. More importantly, people play a major role as sources of information, activity performers and product users. Human aspects have been studied in different fields of SE. Analysed topics tend to overlap (e.g., quite a lot of research has addressed the expert/novice or introverted/extroverted dichotomy or teams in agile/heavy processes). However, results have not been disseminated outside their respective area.
