The e-Government project is one of the newest in Macedonia and is aspiring to become one of the most important projects. It is based on the will and intention to bring the Government of Macedonia closer to its people through the use of new technology. In the course of the cooperation with both the private and the public sector, the e-Government project touches many issues, one of them being the secrecy and privacy of personal data exchanged on the Internet. This is the point of connection between it and the Directorate for Personal Data Protection.
