DISCRETE REPAIR-COST LIMIT REPLACEMENT POLICIES

This paper addresses statistical estimation problems of the optimal repair-cost limitsminimizing the long-run average costs in discrete setting. Two repair-cost limit replacement models are considered with and without imperfect repair. We introduce the discrete total time on test (DTTT) concept and propose non-parametric estimators of the optimal repair-cost limits.
