摘要

To solve an issue of detection technique in the wall body of the Great Wall, a GPR technique with a ND method was used for the first time for the detection. Based on the inside structure of the Great wall, the application of principle and feasibility of GPR used for detection of the wall body are discussed in the paper. With the detection in-situ at a segment of Shanhai Guan, the dielectric magnetic parameters in different materials in the wall body are gained. And after an analysis of the characteristics of the abnormal GPR image, the effective detection and data explanation methods are proposed for identical issues in the future.
