Improved Water Saturation Estimation Using Equivalent Rock Element Model and Applications to Different Rock Types (SPE-113342)

Description: Alot of efforts have been invested to enhance water saturation estimation. We proposed a method that gives more accurate water saturation estimation especially for non-Archie rocks using the equivalent rock element model (SPE P 90143). This paper will show how to incorporate non-electrolytic conductivity into the model to account for the impact of conductive minerals and how to estimate critical water saturation.
