This paper presents the results of an experimental study of deformation and ignition of pressed layers of mechanically activated energetic composition (MAEC) Me (Al, Mg)/Mo03 under impact and friction. The effect of the activation dose, as well as aging, anti-friction additives and varieties of aluminum on the parameters of the initiation of the composites to friction is considered. It is shown that the investigated MAEC are characterized by high mechanical sensitivity. This fact is caused by mechanochemical interaction of components in the process of mechanical action. The use of antifriction additives (PTFE) leads to considerable reduction in the sensitivity of thermite.
