CAN STUDENTS BE SURROGATES FOR MANAGERS IN SUPPLY CHAIN DECISION-MAKING CONTEXTS?

摘要

In empirically investigating the student-manager surrogacy, we found that students had similar decision-making patterns as managers and could be used as surrogates for managers only in relational/cooperative supply chain contexts, not in transactional/competitive supply chain contexts. The methodological implications of the findings for future supply chain research are also discussed.
