The surface mining machines are huge and very complex mechanical structures. Also, they are very light damping structures, as of the excavators and the store yielding machines. In the working time they are variable structure and the modal frequencies are shifted in the narrow bands which mast to be determined in view to be avoid them excitation. For the modal parameter investigation are used the free vibration in occurring in different geometrical and working states of the structures and as sensorial setups are used wireless strain gages and special accelerometers and time sequence cam images for modal shapes. By experiment and design documentation are approximate the dynamical models of the structures used to appreciate stabilities of structures in the low frequency domain (0 to 10 Hz).
