SOME EXAMPLES OF KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER OF THE SLOVENIAN METROLOGY INSTITUTE TO SOUTH EAST EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Transfer of metrology knowledge to South East European countries carried out by Metrology Institute of the Republic of Slovenia and experiences gained in this process are described in the article. Reasons for high importance of the region for Slovenia are presented. Areas where the institute offers the knowledge transfer are indicated, with special emphasis given on a presentation of knowledge transfer activities in the fields of mass and precious metals articles, where several training courses for participants from the region were executed during last years.
