In the view of adsorption and force, the selective flocculation method has been classified according to their characters. There are five aspects about adsorption. They are increasing and decreasing active sites of particle, molecular weight of flocculent, amount of flocculent, molecularrionic recognition and conformation of flocculent. Besides, there are more method about increasing and decreasing active sites of particle, usually, it includes choosing suitable flocculent functional group、altering surface potential of particle、using selective dispersants and concept of SBA(site blocking agents)etc.. In this thesis almost all of the method and principle about selective flocculation would be included. At the same time, some new method would be discussed firstly. Such as, suitable cutting force promoting the selection of flocculation.
