In 2001-2003, an experiment for comprehensive investigation of the water and ice dynamics in the southeastern Barents Sea was carried out by means of moorings. In the course of the experiment, long series of current and ice drift parameters were accumulated. The spatial-temporal variability of currents and ice drift is described by the methods of vector-algebraic and regression analysis. In the vertical structure of currents, one notes a close relationship between the horizons. During the analysis of the spatial variability of water dynamics in the study area, one can clearly see the influence of the complicated basin morphometry. The relationship between the wind and the ice drift is investigated. The temporal and spatial variability of statistical characteristics of the closeness of their connection is considered.
