Isolated human buccal epithelium cells of two men (22 and 25 years) and women (15 years) were irradiated with X-rays (200 and 800 μjRh/h) for 1 minute, and microwaves (frequency - 36.6 GHz, the power density at the object level - 100 μW/cm~2) during 1 min. X-rays were used before and after microwave irradiation, with interval in 20 min. The number of granules of heterochromatin was determined after orcein staining immediately after irradiation. It was shown that the response of cells to radiation differs in some way for cells of different donors. Common features in the reaction of cells - the number of heterochromatin granules after irradiation at 200 μRh/h was significantly higher than after irradiation intensity of 800 μRh/h. Microwave irradiation before and after X-ray treatment virtually eliminates these differences.
