摘要

A macroscopic continuum formulation is proposed in order to describe the behaviour of a class of structural epoxy resin during its cure. This work is developed in the framework of thermodynamics of irreversible processes with generalized normality rule and small perturbations assumption. The elementary volume is composed of as a classical mixture of epoxy resin. The constitutive equations are explained for a mechanical behavior taking into account the viscoelasticity of the matter. Our purpose is to introduce a simple way for the taking into account of the connections between chemical, thermal, and mechanical phenomena acting during the chemical reaction of thermosetting.
