CHEMILUMINESCENT STUDY ON OXIDATION OF MONO-, DI-, AND POLY-SACCHARIDES

摘要

Recently, ultra weak chemiluminescence (CL) which is undetectable with the naked eye can be measured with high sensitivity photo-detectors. In addition, it was clarified that various substances emit ultra weak chemiluminescence in oxidation reactions. The chemiluminescence method has been applied to the assessment of oxidation in different fields, such as macromolecules, foods, living bodies, and environments.
