摘要

The crack tip field of the modified boundary layer (MBL) model and the compact tension shear (CTS) specimen are presented to investigate the constraint effect of the plane strain mixed mode creep crack in this paper. It can be found that the remote T-stress plays a significant role in the creep regime for the mixed mode type creep crack tip field. The variation of the remote T-stress can affect significantly the constraint level of the transient mixed mode creep crack. For the extensive mixed mode creep crack tip field, the stress triaxiality along the maximum tangential stress (MTS) direction can be used as the characterization parameter of constraint effect.
