摘要

Mechanical response of a lead-core bearing device for passive seismic isolation is discussed in the framewortk of continuum damage mechanics. The response of the bearing device on the macro scale is obtained by finite element simulation. On the basis of the numerically obtained macro characteristics of the seismic isolator, a single degree of freedom differential equation model is calibrated and a procedure allowing for assessment of accumulated mechanical damage is implemented.
