摘要

Ball milling of Al and Mg powders results in the formation of fcc-Al(Mg) solid solution with a maximum of 7.3 at.% Mg-content. The effect of milling time on the microstructure, thermal and mechanical behavior has been studied by X-ray diffraction line profile analysis, scanning electronmicroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and microhardness tests, respectively.
